The core practices of Bhakti yoga are available to everyone: using our voices and our presence to join together and reflect upon the joy and mystery of life and our own unique place within creation, and in relationship with each other.
In this workshop, we will explore the deeper yogic context in which we, and the Kirtan practice, are rooted, and we will engage the essence of Bhakti yoga together, through singing and through the "truthful gathering" that is satsang. All are welcome, no prior experience necessary.
A kirtan musician for the past twelve years, Adam played bass with Krishna Das from 2001 to 2008, and with Shyamdas from 2005 until his untimely passing in 2013. He has performed at hundreds of gatherings over the years, sharing stages with Ram Dass, Jai Uttal, Deva Premal and Radhanath Swami, among many others.
